Bunnies

Cute and cuddly!
Who can resist a fuzzy bunny?

Peter, Molly, Bonnie, Clyde, and Spot all snack on carrots, of course! They also enjoy a little apple.
But they have little tummies, so won't eat a whole bunch.

Peter is a Flemish Giant/Angora Crossbred Rabbit
He's the sweetest one we have, true to the Giant's nature

Molly is a Lionhead Rabbit

Spot is a mixed breed rabbit, but he has a little Rex and Lop in him we believe!

Clyde is a Californian Rabbit, he has an identical mate named Bonnie!

Goats

Always playful and mischievous, Magic, Snow, and Prissy usually steal the show!
The Goats love carrots and raisins for treats!

Lambs

Ramsey is a Balwen Welsh Mountain Lamb.
He was born on 2/26/08.
Ramsey is already the sweetest, most cuddly, adorable little thing you could imagine!
We know you'll think so too!

If it's dinnertime while we're there, the kids can help feed bottles!

KahlĂșa is Ramsey's half sister and was born 3/18/08
What a dollbaby she is!!

Ramsey and KahlĂșa waiting for a bottle!

Potbellied Pig

Stuart-you'll never meet a sweeter more well-mannered pig!
Housebroken and harness trained, he thinks he's a dog and is such a spoiled momma's boy!
Stuart's favorite healthy snacks are grapes and popcorn!

Miniature Donkey

Eeyore is just as ornery and mischievous as they get!
But we absolutely adore this fuzzy little guy and we know you will too!
Always the charmer, the adults get the biggest kick out of our family clown!
Since he's still young, and tends to mistake little fingers for carrots sometimes, we ask that Eeyore only be fed treats under our employees supervision.
Eeyore loves carrots and apples. We aren't too sure yet about thistles...

Llama

Princess Leah is one of the newest additions to the family.
Leah was our first Llama, she is sweet, cuddly, and we love her to death!
She will be 2 years old in May!
Leah can have carrots for treats, no apples please.

Update!

We have just purchased a Llama/Alpaca cross (A Llapaca) named Mia as company for Leah!
She is young as well, is just completing her halter and lead training, and is SOO sweet!

Jersey Calves

These two little cuties will melt your heart!
They are both Jersey steers and are being bottle raised right now.
We think Clarence and Odie are just the cutest!
The boys don't really eat any treats yet...but they LOVE their bottles!

Our Great Pyrenees

Annie rules the farm, and the couch!
Sleeping so soundly here, we had to make sure she was still breathing!
Annie is available with the petting zoo at your request only.

Our Friendly Fowl

We always try to bring an educational assortment of our birds.
Though they're all friendly, please keep in mind that they aren't much for cuddling ;-)
But the kids do have fun touching them, especially the fuzzy Silkie chickens.

African Geese

Ducklings

Pekin and Indian Runner Ducklings

Silkie Chickens
(and other assorted breeds)

Bourbon Turkey

Ferret

(special request only)

Yogi LOVES to be held and cuddled. He has a typical curious ferret personality and is absolutely beautiful.
Please no treats for Yogi.

Our usual petting zoo consists of everything you see on this page, however there may be variances on occasion.
Animals, like people, will occasionally have bad days, or maybe just not feel up to going out. When that happens, we try to keep everyone happy and give anyone the day off if they need it.
Those occasions are rare, but we always take the animals' health and well-being into consideration before anything else!

Last year, we had a lot of requests to give the animals treats at the parties. For their health and diet reasons, I have listed appropriate treats for each animal if anyone would like to have them on hand. But please remember, only feed the animals with staff approval or supervision.
Please no junk food! (especially for Stuart, since he tends to overeat and get a little hefty sometimes!).

We ask that you provide soap and water for handwashing after all animal contact. This is important even when your child plays with your own pets! We will provide hand sanitizer, but still recommend that you encourage all children to wash with soap and water.
Please no sippy cups, bottles, or pacifiers in the petting zoo area.

Please remember that our own children handle our animals every day as well, so cleanliness and health is extremely important to us.

Our animals do not come into contact with other animals outside the farm. We do not board other animals. When we do acquire new animals, they are quarantined and health checked before being allowed around our other babies.
